Joanna and Tom contacted for their wedding and Chicago engagement photos and I couldn’t be more thrilled. We decided to show off their home town and do a combination of urban and lakefront for their engagement photos. Chicago city is super picturesque and I couldn’t be more excited to share with you some of my favorite spots for this special photo session!

Wrigley Building address: 400-410 Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60611
The most perfect spot to start our session was outside the iconic Wrigley building and around the Chicago Riverwalk . We loved starting our engagement photos right in the heart of downtown Chicago showing off the skyline on the popular Michigan Avenue ! There are beautiful photo opportunities all around this renovated Rierwalk and is such a nice area to walk around and explore! You will see the boats, tourists, the cafes and ice cream shops, not to forget the beautiful brass revolving doors. It’s a popular destination and for many reasons!
Walking together around the Chicago Riverwalk was a fun and special experience for these two! Â
Lincoln Park Engagement
Lincoln Park address: 2121 N Stockton Dr, Chicago, IL 60614
In addition to the beautiful skyline views of Chicago, the couple wanted to include a few scenes around nature, so we included in our photo locations a little bit of he Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk! This charming little area is an extension of the Lincoln Park Zoo, featuring a little prairie, bridges and overlooks with the skyline.
North Avenue Beach Engagement Session
North Avenue Beach Pier Address: 1603 North Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60613 (Address to the closest Parking spot)
Across the street from the Lincoln Park Boardwalk is the popular North Avenue Beach ! It definitely has one of the best views of the northern Chicago skyline. Because it was within walking distance to the Lincoln Park, we chose to end the photo session at this incredible spot in Lake Michigan!
