A colorful winter wedding at Lafayette Club
There’s something really special about weddings at the Lafayette Club that can hold both elegance and personality at the same time, and this celebration did exactly that.
This Indian Jewish wedding blended vibrant traditions, emotional moments, and one very joyful dance floor into a day that felt deeply personal from beginning to end. Between the colorful details, meaningful ceremonies, and lakeside setting, the entire wedding felt warm, intentional, and full of life.
One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at Lafayette Club is how versatile the space feels throughout the day. The lakeside views create a beautiful backdrop for portraits, while the indoor spaces still feel timeless and elevated without being overly formal. It works beautifully for celebrations that combine multiple traditions and larger guest counts while still feeling intimate.
The couple incorporated both Indian and Jewish elements throughout the day in a way that felt seamless and authentic to them. From emotional family moments during the ceremonies to an absolutely packed dance floor later in the evening, the entire day carried so much energy and connection.
