A Soft Pastel Spring Wedding Planned by Style Architects
There was something incredibly joyful and effortless about C & K’s wedding day. From the soft pastel palette to the thoughtful design details throughout the celebration, the entire day felt romantic, personal, and full of warmth.
After a ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes in Northeast Minneapolis, guests made their way to Minikahda Club for an evening overlooking Bde Maka Ska surrounded by spring light, laughter, and the people who know them best. Planned by Style Architects, the day blended refined details with a feeling that never felt overly formal or staged.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was how genuinely happy these two are together. They met during a high school class trip to Italy over ten years ago, and the ease between them is impossible to miss. Throughout the day there was this sense that everyone around them could feel not only how deeply they love each other, but how much fun they have together too.
The windy spring weather made portraits on the lawn feel especially cinematic, while the soft pastel florals and classic styling gave everything a timeless feel. From the emotional ceremony to the energy on the dance floor later that evening, every part of the day felt intentional without losing the joyful spontaneity that makes weddings so meaningful to photograph.
This Minneapolis spring wedding was the perfect reminder that elegant celebrations do not need to feel overly complicated to leave a lasting impression.
