I am all about unrehearsed moments and real smiles.
I married a Minnesota boy, but I grew up in the tropical lands of Costa Rica and together we have the most adventurous little one. Our lives consist of family impromptu dances, exploring the outdoors and movies with subtitles.
When I am not busy working you can find me exploring the outdoors, chasing the light and my 2 year old. I also like taking care of my plants and I like to watch movies in foreign languages.
I’m located in Minneapolis, Minnesota with the spoon and the cherry, I moved after marrying the love of my life after many years of long distance. You can read all about it !
I am most passionate about creating. I have been a photographer for over 9 years now, transitioning from conceptual art to specializing in weddings. Photography has taking me in a amazing trips, travels and I have met wonderful people.
I love becoming friends with my clients and share adventures with them, I believe each us have a powerful story to tell!
My first camera landed in my hands thanks to my dad, and I am so tremendously grateful to have learned this art from him.
Don Ronald has been a photographer since the 70s and worked in Costa Rica for big companies like Pfizer, Bayer, the Archdiocese of San Jose, our favorite sport team Saprissa and innumerable clients for portraits and weddings.
He is an absolute rockstar entrepeneur that owns his own business in Costa Rica, and keeps shooting for the love of art, so luckily he is able to join me to second shoot in most of my Summer weddings.
We share a passion to create wonderful images that tell a compelling story and are both candid and well crafted.

No worries, there wasn't any fire (it was just a drop-off spot). We met in San Jose, Costa Rica, where Adam decided to take his Spanish High school trip and stay with my family. We fell in love, emailed a lot and became avid flyers. After years of being pen pals and occasional trips, we finally got engaged in 2010 and moved to Minnesota to enjoy the forever winter. (Thank you AOL and our patient parents).
We do enjoy going to Costa Rica every winter with our little two year old!
Pura Vida is the living law of Costa Rica, it could be translated literally to "Pure Life", and it is definitely a way of life.
I travel back to my country at least once a year to refresh and recharge with my family.
I am happy to share a bit about us.
