I absolutely adore doing an in home couple lifestyle session. Being in your element, it opens up your heart and makes you so comfortable with the camera (and each other) . These newlyweds were so good at forgetting about everything and everyone else in just a few minutes, to show how truly in love they are and how much dedication they have to each other.
I am a firm believer that our lives happen in these little moments. Our best memories happen in between the big events. We all celebrate getting a new house, but your most darling memories happen afterwards. The photos that we create every day are just to celebrate those in between. From decorating your new home with that new rug from Target, to volunteering to make pancakes today. The sweet hugs during breakfast, the smiles when we finally found that one thing we were looking around for days. I adore being able to photograph these real moments at home, there are so many things that make our day, and in home sessions are getting to peek into someones everyday lives, it’s an absolute honor.
Laura and Aaron made pancakes, played board games, hung out in pajamas, and even had some cocoa. It truly doesn’t hurt to start a day like that!
