Minnesota History Center Wedding
We came back to their venue at the beautiful Minnesota History Center where they had the most beautiful ceremony with the State Capitol in the background! They did a wine unity ceremony and celebrated BIG to be pronounced MR and MRS !
Cocktails at the rooftop were one of the best times for their lovely guests and family, who were so, so excited for them and to have an absolutely perfect beginning to their summer.
Their dinner followed, where Lauren’s sister and Joe’s best man shared moving and funny toasts. Later we all found ourselves wiping tears at their super loving First Dance at the sound of Ben Folds – The Luckiest. The party and dance was everything we expected to be , so much awesome moves and dances!!
Thoughts about the Wedding Venue
The venue is definitely unique, modern and spacious! It has lots of spot for wedding party and couple photos.
The ceremony spot overlooking the Capitol looks stunning, however, as a photographer, I have to note the lighting is a little tough to photograph as it is backlit. Most photographers don’t use flash for the ceremony, however, you will need to use flash or a continuous light to be able to showcase the view and the ceremony!
