I had an amazing time in this session! The colors in the fall are so fun to work with. There is beauty everywhere you look! I absolutely love being a Twin Cities family photographer and meeting so many wonderful, loving families. Even when it isn’t fall, there are so many beautiful places around St Paul and Minneapolis where I love to take families for their portrait sessions. The Dodge Nature Center and Hidden Falls, for example, are beautiful locations year-round! And, of course, there is always the option of having a family session in your home. I love being able to capture photos of a family where they live most of their life. Homes are always so full of personality, and it’s so great to be able to add that personality to family portraits.
So don’t feel like you have to wait until warmer weather to schedule your family session! It’s just as fun to start our session off snuggled up together on your couch at home as it is to spend the time out in the sun. We can even make it outside for some photos in the snow too (as long as it isn’t TOO cold)! As an added bonus, if you’re interested in starting a family session at home, it will be easier to include any furry or fluffy family members to your photos.
