Every wedding has their appeal and special unique touches. Â Grace and Dan had the perfect setting for their intimate Minnesota backyard wedding photos. Â They had their first look in the lush forest behind Dan’s parents’ home. Â And then we moved to the backyard to celebrate the joining of their lives with their closest friends and family.
Personal touches were everywhere at this wedding. Â Not only did they provide their own venue, but Grace created her bouquet from flowers purchased at the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market. Â Their friends Kristin and Brian provided the music at the reception. Â Grace and Dan’s mothers, Christa and Brenda, planned the wedding themselves. Â There wasn’t a part of the wedding that wasn’t touched by somebody Grace and Dan loved, which makes me feel all the more special for being there.
I can’t pick my absolute favorite moment of the day.  It could have been Dan’s eyes when he saw Grace in her dress for the first time, surrounded by the greenery of the forest. Or when their cat came out of the house and joined them at the reception.  It could have been the wonderful guests or the awesome music.  All I know is that it was an amazing night, and I am so honored to have captured these images for them.  I wish them many, many more years of love together.
