Minnesota History Center Wedding
It was so beautiful to see this day come to life! When I met Lauren and Joe and heard their love story, full of happy moments, travels, and puppies…. I was over the moon!
Lauren and Joe were most excited to be together with their friends and family in their big day! Let me tell you about this awesome pair: Joe is an avid napper, and Lauren loves reading and puzzles (my kinda gal). They both met in LaCrosse, WI while going to school and work with mutual friends.
Life truly has a way to make pretty circles around the most wonderful people, and later when they took the plunge and went out for a date , they quickly knew they belong together. They are actually got married in their dating anniversary date! How adorable is that?
Joe has a wonderful skill for surprises, for their engagement he surprised Lauren with a helicopter ride in Las Vegas! How incredible fun! Lauren’s tells it in the most heartwarming way: “It happened! He got down on his knee, pulled out the ring, and I’ve been smiling ear-to-ear ever since!”.
Their day was full of excitement from the start, when everyone arrived at the Hampton Inn for their getting ready ! Lauren and Joe’s bridal Party was super fun and they made the bus ride around St Paul so much fun! We made a couple of spots for photos and finally, we stopped at Mears Park where we somehow ended up in a Yogurt commercial .
We came back to their venue at the beautiful Minnesota History Center where they had the most beautiful ceremony with the State Capitol in the background! They did a wine unity ceremony and celebrated BIG to be pronounced MR and MRS !
Cocktails at the rooftop were one of the best times for their lovely guests and family, who were so, so excited for them and to have an absolutely perfect beginning to their summer.
Their dinner followed, where Lauren’s sister and Joe’s best man shared moving and funny toasts. Later we all found ourselves wiping tears at their super loving First Dance at the sound of Ben Folds – The Luckiest. The party and dance was everything we expected to be , so much awesome moves and dances!!
