One of my top favorites ever celebrations this year was this Minnesota Valley Country Club Wedding !!
Not only we had perfect weather, the day was full of pretty details all around and above all the happiness of these two! Adam and Bridget love each other so much and in such a genuine way that it’s hard not to let your heart melt when you meet them. And my heart melted over and over on their wedding day.

The best day ever.
Bridget and Adam planned the day themselves and nailed every detail! Bridget designed the wedding with all her heart and it was easy to see how happy she was to see everything finally happening!
They spent their wedding day enjoying it fully, and fully together. As always looking at each other, giving each other the best smiles and talking to each other in the sweetest ways. With their family and friends, they had a lovely ceremony at the Minnesota Valley Country Club.
Later during reception, everyone enjoyed the toasts between tears and giggles when Adam’s brother and Bridget’s sister told the best stories (and top 6’s!!). Bridget’s sister, Kelley revealed that Bridget’s superpowers are fries and shows.
Bridget and Adam’s first dance was sweet and lovely to the tunes of “Springsteen.” Every time Adam’s gaze caught hers, all day long, they were shining! Bridget and her dad’s dance was a nice surprise and the rest of the evening was a full blast of fun, WOOS, and colorful dances
How it all started.
Bridget and Adam met at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where Bridget was a freshman in a sorority and Adam “Devo” was in a fraternity. UND was also where Bridget’s grandmother met her husband years and years ago and where Bridget’s mom met her husband as well! How amazing is that?
I loved when I heard the proposal story during their engagement session! Adam and Bridget have been living at Hopkins for two years, just in front of the park downtown. Adam joked that he would pop the question in the downtown Hopkins park and Bridget would reply “nice try, pick a better spot.” Every time for the next two years when we walked through the park, he would say, “this will be the spot!” And she would roll her eyes….
Then one day, Bridget was completely taken by surprise when she opened the door of the apartment to candles, roses and a sign that said “meet me in the park”…. She obviously ran down the stairs and across the street to the downtown Hopkins park where she found Adam and asked “is this a joke?!” And he said, “no not at all, I told you I was gonna do it right here!” He had a rose in one hand and a ring in the other.
He got down on one knee and she said yes!
