Small Ceremony at Central Mississippi Riverfront
This couple’s ceremony at the Water Power Park was truly sweet and meaningful.
Denitsa and Jake had their wedding at a spot called the Central Mississipi Riverfront Regional Park, but it is also known as Water Power Park. I didn’t even know this spot existed, less than you could rent it to have a wedding ceremony at!
It is located in the St Anthony Main area by the banks of the Mississippi River, with a very pretty view! The Mill City museum is in the back, with tall buildings, the stone arch bridge and the river falls.
Small wedding in Minneapolis
After planning their wedding for a while, the couple decided to elope somewhere in the city instead!
Wedding planning was getting to be too much, and Denitsa’s sister was planning to move away. Once they decided to elope in the city instead, the found huge relief in doing it their way!
They quickly found an officiant, invited their closest family members and found a spot. This Water Power Park location was just perfect to get married!
In the meantime, also found me! It was such a great day and I was over the moon happy to join them in this intimate ceremony.
Water Power Park Wedding
The ceremony was held in a Sunday, which was perfect because we didn’t have much crowds to worry about. It also rained a little bit before their wedding, but it cleared in time for their ceremony.
They said their vows in front of the river with just with their closest family members!
After their ceremony, we walked around the area and took photos! Denitsa and Jake were truly inundated with happiness. To finish the celebration, the couple celebrated with their little group at Alma Hotel!
