I absolutely love small weddings!
Claire and Caleb picked a Wednesday for their lovely St Paul courthouse wedding in the Ramsey County Courthouse. It was an intimate ceremony, where they literally tied the knot! Instead of exchanging physical rings, they each tied a piece of string around their fingers to symbolize the joining of their lives. It’s a beautiful alternative to exchanging rings, and there are many different variations out there!
After their wedding, we went to a park nearby and then a nature center to enjoy the snow and be surprised by deer. It was a little overcast, but just enough to make the light soft and dreamy, a perfect accent to Claire and Caleb’s shining love.
They ended their evening having champagne and cupcakes with their best friends at home.
What a wonderful Wednesday!
